This has helped to establish Town & City Management Limited as a respected provider of residential leasehold management services and to thrive within a very competitive market.

Our History
Pre – 2002
Working for residential property investment companies, Peter Bigge, the eventual founder of Town and City Management Services built a portfolio of 1800 houses and flats throughout the North of England and was responsible for three regional offices based in Manchester, Sheffield and Bedale, North Yorkshire.
2002
Peter bought out the leasehold management portfolio and Town and City Management Services was born as an independent company specialising in residential leasehold management and the collection of ground rents.
2004
With the growth in apartment living Town and City Management Services extended its portfolio to include some of the most prestigious apartment blocks in the region including the quayside in Newcastle and Darlington’s affluent West End. Support staff numbers increased which resulted in a move to purpose built offices in central Darlington and the opening of a branch office on the Newcastle upon Tyne quayside.
2005-2008
Continuing growth resulted in a joint venture with Saxton Mee a leading Estate and Lettings Agent in Sheffield with Town and City Management Services expertise in residential leasehold management being employed to the best advantage of leaseholders, landlords and freeholders.
2007
Two new companies are created Town & City Directors Limited and Town & City Secretaries Limited to provide additional support services to Residents Management Companies as required.
2009
Town and City Management Services acquires the residential leasehold management portfolio from Saxton Mee and opens a branch office in Sheffield.
Mar 2009
Town and City Management Limited is incorporated. This is seen as a positive step towards the future growth of the business and our continuing relationship with our clients
The Future:
Currently managing a portfolio of 3000 plus flats and houses Town & City Management Limited aim to continue to grow and expand its management portfolio in the North of England providing the highest level of services and expertise in its chosen business sector; supplying residential leasehold management to its clients both current and future.
Having forged close working relationships with other property professionals Town & City Management Limited are in a unique position to offer the best advice to their clients offering practicable help especially with regards to the effects following The Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002.
